The 2020-21 World Business Institute at the US (WBIUS) is opening the call for applicants for the 2020-2021 program, to serve as the WBIUS ambassadors in South East Asia, Africa and Latin America Regions. If you are a motivated volunteer interested in innovation and entrepreneurship endeavor in form of pro-bono work, participate in this appointment cycle and get incredible opportunity and attain your valuable experience! Throughout the appointment proceedings, you will be given opportunities to demonstrate your vision for collaboration and future. Due to your views for our collective future, the Board of Directors will select and appoint its new ambassadors.
We aim to provide the most significant opportunity for establishing a global platform that brings startups heads, innovators, inventors and small business managers together, form global and regional networks for collaboration, taking advantages of business trainers, as well as innovation and entrepreneurship mentors. Traditional meetings and conventions as well as web summit and virtual workshops and webinars across the region and globe, are among available strategies for training and promoting WBIUS ambassadors. International Regional Ambassadors also serve as regional advisors to the institute.
Our Ambassadors are Community key Volunteers for attaining the vision and strategic plan through success of action plans such as the Coronavation event 2020. Working closely with the coronavation event board committee, they bring their enthusiastic motivation, communication skills, and competencies as well as experiences to act as the major WBIUS contact persons in their countries, and communities. They try to create a network to bring a wide range of expertise and new ideas, share received info and guidelines across network and audiences, provide local information and consultation to WBIUS Director for promoting this event.
*This position is temporary during the event and would be extended for next events.
In order to be considered as an ambassador candidate, the interested persons must read and meet all eligibility requirements in the Ambassador Roles and Responsibilities approved by the institute and send the following items to the Director by email at firstname.lastname@example.org :
- Bio or Brief Resume (limit 100 word)
- Signed Agreement on the WBIUS Policy on Pro-Bono ( including Contact Information; such as email address, cell phone number, Linked In page address, …)

Ø Respect and follow national and community law and regulations during acting their roles and tasks.
Ø Social Marketing, Advertising and Facilitate communication.
Ø Creating Network, Sharing Information of event with others.
Ø Fundraising, try to get resources from interested individuals, groups, local institutions.
Ø Reporting to the Chief Ambassador (CA) and WBIUS Director.
Ø Transforming trainings and workshops with pre approval of WBIUS.
Ø Maintaining a positive image of the event brand at all times.
Ø Monitoring participant’s feedback and transfer areas for improvement to the Chief Ambassador and the Director.
Ø Participating in the development and implementation of the event work plan and next events.
